for "old person" you can use elderly or senior. you might use reminisce or flashback for remembering things from her past. she could be rummaging through old belongings. she might venerate (think highly of) aesthetic (beautiful) family heirlooms. There are good SAT words on the Roosevelt website and you can use those.
