Why is freeview and my built in TV only showing the BBC channels???????!!!!!!!?

My parents tv downstairs has a freeview box, only showing BBC channels, no ITV or 4 or 5 etc.. Have tried uninstalling, retuning etc.. but still same problem. Now, my brand new tv upstairs is exactlly the same problem, except that my TV has a built in thing to pick up these digital stations!! We are in the South West - has been like this since Saturday. Anyone no why?? Anyone else having these problwms??? Thanks!! We are getting pissed off now!!! XXXXX
