Going to be away from my boyfriend for 6 weeks and i already miss him, is this normal?

Its perfectly normal. I've not had to go through that with my boyfriend yet, because we work together, live together, and we're just always together..but before we lived together and we'd take just a rare night apart (we've yet to have a full day in the past 7 months..out of almost 14 months of being together..) I'd always miss him and then feel really stupid about it because it hadn't even been very long. I couldn't imagine going that long without him. I'd be a mess.
