My fringe has grown out of shape :'(?

about a month ago I went to the hairdressers and I got my hair layered and got my fringe so it would sweep across my forehead and looked neat and layered and sort of jagged. Now whenever I try to sweep it across it seperates and just goes downwards past my eyes ( and its all long) its so annoying !!!!! Its like I dont have a fringe anymore and all my hair has come forward to make a sort of fringe which looks crappy :'( :'( :'( Any ideas of how to reshape it back to how it was cut? xxxxx
